The West Indies team got bad news when they came to play in Pakistan

Meanwhile, the heat of the corona has decreased a bit for the last few months but it is increasing again. This deadly virus is stinging again in a new form. This time the corona wave is also in the West Indies camp visiting Pakistan.

The Caribbeans will take on Pakistan in the first match of the three-match T20 series on Monday (December 13) at midnight. Before the start of the series, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. This time there was even bigger bad news.

Four people, including three cricketers, were reportedly injured in the corona test. The country’s cricket board has confirmed the matter through a press release.

The victims are Sheldon Cottrell, Kyle Myers, Ruston Chase and an unnamed member of the team management. It is known that they are currently in isolation. They will be able to join the team subject to negative results in the 10-day PCR test.

However, in the T20 series as well, in the whole series, there has been concern about their availability. And so the team played a big push before coming to play against the strong Pakistan.

Earlier, the team captain Pollard was dropped due to injury. Shy Hope and Nicholas Puran will lead the Pakistan tour instead.
