Champion Tiger beat India

Bangladesh U-19 team won the tri-nation ODI series title at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In the final match on Tuesday (December 6), the Tigers got a majestic 162-run victory over India’s U-19 ‘B’ team.

Earlier, the hosts lost 3 wickets for just 5 runs to chase the big target of 235 runs given by Ich Mollah. In the controlled bowling of Zaman-Sakib, cornered India U-19 ‘B’ team. After that they could not turn around.

The hosts lost everything by scoring only 53 runs. India did not lose a wicket in the first 3 overs but could not get a run. The hosts lost to Shaun Roger by 6 runs in the third ball of the fourth over of the innings.

After that, they lost two more wickets just to add 1 run. One by one, Mohammad Faiz and Aradhya Yadav went back to the toilet. For Bangladesh, Naimur Rahman took 4 wickets, Zaman 2 wickets, and Tanjim Shakib 1 wicket.

Earlier in the rain-affected match, batting first, Ich Mollah’s impeccable innings of 93 runs wrapped in 10 fours and two sixes lost all the wickets and the youth of Bangladesh got a big collection of 234 runs.

Apart from Aich Mollah for Bangladesh, Ashiq scored 50 off 56 balls and Prantik Nowroz Nabil scored 26 off 25 balls. Besides, Dhanush Gowda took three wickets for India.

Earlier on Wednesday (December 1) in their second match of the three-team ODI series, the Bangladesh U-19 team won by a huge margin of 113 runs against the India U-19 ‘B’ team. India’s innings were reduced to 192 runs with the target of 306 runs given by the Tigers.
