There is no end to the suffering of the workers in the capital due to the rain on Monday (December 8) morning. Waterlogging has been created in different places due to continuous rain since night.

According to a bulletin from the Meteorological Department, cyclone Jawad has weakened and turned into a depression. It is located in the North West Bay of Bengal and the adjoining West-Central Bay of Bengal on Sunday evening.

According to meteorologists, Jawad may move further north and become weaker gradually. However, Cyclone Java will have an effect until Tuesday (December 6). Seaports have been asked to display local warning signal number 3.

According to the meteorological office, moderate to heavy rains are likely in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Rajshahi divisions.

According to Indian meteorologists, the torrential rains caused by Cyclone Java have caused waterlogging in several parts of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. In the next 24 hours, 40 to 50 kmph winds will blow along the coast of the state. At the same time, the wind can blow at a maximum speed of 60 kmph.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Howrah, Kolkata, Hooghly, Birbhum, Bankura, Nadia, Murshidabad, East Burdwan, and West Burdwan. Two 24 Parganas, two Midnapore, and Jhargram are likely to receive heavy rains. Heavy rains are likely in the adjoining North 24 Parganas, Nadia, and Murshidabad districts of Bangladesh.

As a precaution, it has been banned to go to sea till Monday. They said that the rain may decrease after Tuesday.
