The foreign secretaries of the two countries met at the Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday (December 6) at noon. The meeting focused on the upcoming visit of Indian President Ramnath Kobind to Bangladesh.
Later, the brief was jointly presented by the Foreign Secretary and the Foreign Secretary of India. Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan is busy in Dhaka on a two-day state visit.
Earlier in the morning, the Indian Foreign Secretary arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit. When he landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, he was welcomed by Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen.
According to Foreign Ministry sources, Sringla will hold a meeting with Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen on the first day of his visit to Dhaka. Then the foreign minister said. He will have a courtesy meeting with AK Abdul Momen.
He is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the next day.
Meanwhile, the President said. Indian President Ramnath Kobind is coming to Dhaka at the invitation of Abdul Hamid. He is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on December 15 for a three-day visit. This will be Ramnath Kobind’s first visit to Bangladesh as President of India.
