Corona violence has decreased in the world in 24 hours

A further 5,425 people died in the world in the previous 24 hours until 8:30 a.m. Bangladesh time on Sunday (December 12), according to WorldOmiter, a website that tracks global corona statistics. On the other hand, 5 lakh 2 thousand 379 people have been identified.

Earlier, on Saturday (December 11), another 8,602 people died in the world in the previous 24 hours till 8:30 am. On the other hand, 6 lakh 8 thousand 254 people were identified.

So far, a total of 26 crore 94 lakh 23 thousand 428 people have been infected with corona in the world and the death toll stands at 53 lakh 11 thousand 60 people. And 24 crore 22 lakh 85 thousand 138 people have recovered.

The United States, the world’s most powerful country, has so far had the highest number of infections and deaths from corona. In the country which is at the top of the list, 5 crore 6 lakh 82 thousand 81 people have been infected with corona so far. 6 lakh 17 thousand 69 people have died.

In India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country, 3 crore 46 lakh 84 thousand 396 people have been infected with corona so far. 4 lakh 75 thousand 128 people have died.

Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 2 crore 21 lakh 8 thousand 189 people and the total number of deaths so far is 6 lakh 17 thousand 759 people.

In the United Kingdom, which is in the fourth place in terms of infection, 1 crore 8 lakh 14 thousand 44 people have been infected with corona so far. Of these, 1 lakh 46 thousand 37 people died.

In Russia, which is in the fifth place, 99 lakh 8 thousand 98 people have been affected by corona so far. 2 lakh 8 thousand 351 people died.

Turkey is sixth, France seventh, Germany eighth, Iran ninth and Argentina tenth. Bangladesh ranks 31st in this list.

The coronavirus outbreak began in the last week of December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 223 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh
