Corona’s power in the world has decreased a lot in 24 hours

As many as 3,906 people died in the world in the previous 24 hours till 8:30 am Bangladesh time on Sunday (December 26), according to the World Cometer website, which maintains global corona statistics. On the other hand, 4 lakh 61 thousand 911 people have been identified.

Earlier, on Saturday (December 25), 5,494 people died in the world in the previous 24 hours till 8:30 am. On the other hand, 6 lakh 9 thousand 365 people were identified.

So far, a total of 26 crore 98 lakh 29 thousand 614 people have been infected with corona in the world and the death toll stands at 54 lakh 13 thousand 116 people. And 25 crore 29 thousand 758 people have recovered.

The United States, the world’s most powerful country, has so far had the highest number of infections and deaths from corona. In the country which is at the top of the list, 5 crore 30 lakh 26 thousand 85 people have been infected with corona so far. 6 lakh 37 thousand 69 people have died.

India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 3 crore 46 lakh 71 thousand 360 people. 4 lakh 69 thousand 520 people have died.

Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 2 crore 22 lakh 34 thousand 728 people and the total number of deaths so far is 6 lakh 17 thousand 458 people.

In the United Kingdom, which is in the fourth place in terms of infection, 1 crore 17 lakh 91 thousand 292 people have been infected with corona so far. Of these, 1 lakh 46 thousand 758 people died.

Russia, which is in the fifth place, has so far affected 1 crore 36 lakh 62 thousand 299 people. 3 lakh 3 thousand 250 people died.

Turkey is sixth, France seventh, Germany eighth, Iran ninth and Spain tenth. Bangladesh ranks 32nd in this list.

In the last week of December 2019, coronavirus transmission started from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 223 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
